Carlie was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. She has over 21 years of family and juvenile law experience. She attended Arizona State University earning her B.A. in Political Science in 1998. She attended law school at Texas A&M (formerly Texas Wesleyan) earning her law degree in 2002. While in law school, Carlie was elected as President of the Student Bar Association. Carlie has won several awards, including the Volunteer Lawyers Program ‘For Love of Justice’ Pro Bono Attorney of the Year for Phoenix in 2009 and 2013. Carlie is known for her passionate and unrelenting representation for all clients in the most difficult of cases. Carlie also acted as a Maricopa County Judge Pro Tem for three years in family law and child support matters. Carlie enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, fishing, hunting, and spending time in the vast Arizona wilderness.
